What is it about the lean, eloquent senator that gets people so riled up? Tight-lipped neocon and disgruntled liberal blogger alike, there are no halfway opinions about Kerry. What makes them maddest? Let's figure this out democratically!

Everything you listed, kerryvisionary, riles them up.
They are so envious and he diminishes all those who compete with him. He makes people face their own shortcomings. He is a spectacular man and others don't measure up. He was born gifted but most of all, he's worked all his life to develop his potential in the best way...his mind, his body, his heart, and his work. The most revealing thing to me is the way kids adore him so completely. They are the only ones who don't seem to get riled.
One word..."power".
I believe he has a destiny to fulfill with this country and we're just about to see it happen.

I really love everything you've said here, and I totally agree that the instincts of kids are the surest barometer of a person's REAL character.
